Attendees will access the translation through an App on their phone and they must bring their own headphones.
The pricing includes the hotel room for 4 nights in Lake Como (arriving 10/16 and checking out on 10/20), breakfast at the hotel during your dates of stay, a one day-guided tour of the lake and several towns and villas around the lake, two days of comparative law programming with Italian local government lawyers, translation services during the meeting, and three lunches. Airfare and transportation are not included and must be booked by the registrant themselves.
IMLA will apply for CLE for programming based on content but cannot guarantee whether CLE approval will be granted at this time. Please note these topics are subject to change.
- 4-nights hotel stay.

- 6-hour guided tour of Lake Como and several towns and villas around the Lake.
- 2 days of comparative law programming with Italian local government lawyers.
- Collaboration with our Italian counterparts, Nione Nazionale Avvocati Enti Pubblici (UNAEP).
- Villa Carlotta where the group visits the 17th century Villa and the gardens of the Clerici family who were successful silk merchants for more than 200 years before Anton Clerici blew the family fortune.
- The 1500 year-old municipality of Varenna where the group will be able to purchase something quick to eat from local stands or restaurants or sit and relax and have a glass of wine. While in Varenna, the Tour will also visit Villa Monastero. The unusual Villa dates to the 1200’s and served as a convent before being renovated in a Nordic style.
- The Pearl of Lake Como, the municipality of Bellagio where the group will have free time for shopping and touring.
- Other sites that will be viewed during the tour are the town of Tremezzo and Comacina Island as well as the Villas of D’Este, Erba, Pliniana, Balbianello, Oleandra (George and Amal’s Villa), La Gaeta, and the Roman bridge of Nesso.
The Boat then returns to Cernobbio. An English-speaking guide will accompany the Tour throughout.
