Municipal Airport Contracting  In 2025, the City of Atlanta celebrates its 100-year anniversary as owner and operator of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world’s busiest and most efficient airport. The presentation will provide a brief overview of the City of Atlanta’s procurement laws (local public contracting).  In more detail the presentation will discuss the incorporation of local procurement laws with federal contract requirements for municipalities that own commercial airports.
